The Working Mother

Margaret Keeble was always nifty with her hands, especially when her daughters were growing up. She was constantly making costumes and outfits but found it difficult making hats.

Deciding to fuel her enthusiasm, she enrolled at her local TAFE in the millinery course and was instantly hooked. Word spread about her nifty work that she began making hats for friends, and their friends, and their friends....

Further to this, her skills in the kitchen began to gain attention. Her cakes were in hot demand and now she operates a small business from home, swapping between cakes and hats, depending on demand.

A fabulous story demonstrating how word-of-mouth and a touch of class can bring you rewards!
