A life in film

Ian Levers is in an endangered tradie, although, some might be suprised that his trade is in fact Photography.

Or, rather, the printing of his photos.

In a world which focuses on digital technology, Ian's craft and trade is slowly becoming extinct.

Ian's first exhibition was in 1987 - and has spent years creating a wide variety of photography on everything from abstract architecture, to nudes, to his well known series on the Eastern Suburbs Pools.

He has exhibited in over 40 shows. His work has been exhibited in New York and is collected alike by locals, businesses, councils and overseas collectors or art lovers.

Ian shares his knowledge and story with us in this piece, with the backdrop of his beautiful photography collection.
