Designing with Wood, Glass & Fabric

John Skinner owns Studio Skinky - not to be confused with 'kinky' or 'stinky'!

Studio Skinky is a design workshop that values items which are well made, express character, simple in design and consider the well-being of our planet. The work ranges from soft furnishings, furniture and worn accessories, to fine art pieces. They design things that people want but can never find in the stores.

We chat to John, as well as Seo Ryung Lee - Interior Designer and cushion maker, at Sydney's Powerhouse Museum where the 12th International Design Festival is being held from 8-24 August 2008.
