Peter and Julie moved from Sydney to Orange in 1992 with their 5 young sons and began growing grapes in 1996. Planting and maintaining the vineyard has been a family affair from day one and all the sons are expected to pitch in and help on the property. Peter and Julie had grown up in the country but had moved to Sydney for Peter's football career. Peter played rugby league for the Canterbury Bulldogs from 1977-1987. Peter and Julie had always promised themselves that they would raise their children in the country so that they could enjoy the open spaces and close community. We speak to Peter, Julie and their son Daniel. Peter and Julie work closely with winemaker Simon Gilbert.
