The Basslink Connection

The Basslink interconnector is the world’s longest undersea electricity cable. It protects Tasmania against the risk of drought-constrained energy shortages while providing Victoria and southern states with secure renewable energy during times of peak demand.

Skillsone caught up with two men from the company, Russel - Smith, who were instrumental in the completion of this very important project. A great Tasmanian company doing great things for Tasmania and mainland Australia.
