Turning at World Skills 08

SkillsOne visits WorldSkills at Darlling Harbour. It's the 2008 National Competition - and we visit a boilermaker competitor and see just what the trade is all about. Pete Buckey, a fitter and turner judge, runs us through the tasks which the competitors are undertaking.

Pete explains the difference between a fitter and turner, and explains how he got into being a fitter and turner.

He chats about what he values in the industry and the studies he's gone into afterwards.

Pete shares how he got into Worldskills - his international competitions, and how he became a judge.
