Demonstration of Glass & Glazing

Mark Nicholls gives SkillsOne a demonstration on how glass is made, at the Lidcombe TAFE. He is the Head Teacher of Glass and Glazing. He tells us about the changes in the industry, the new challenges that modern architecture proposes for those involved in glass and glazing.

We also talk to Mark Ashton, a student at the TAFE, who shows us how to cut a fan hole in glass. He tells us how he got into the industry, and the diversity of the trade.
