An overview of glass & glazing

What's glass and glazing all about? We chat to Mark Nicholls, TAFE teacher at Lidcombe, to show us what's involved in the industry, and what's offered in their course at Lidcombe.

Mark Nicholls has only had three jobs in his life. He started of as a sewing machine mechanic for Singer and lasted for 6 months, then approached a family friend that had a glass and glazing business. He started his apprenticeship with him and studied at TAFE and worked for him for another 7 years after finishing his apprenticeship. Has worked for 30 years at TAFE and is now the head of the faculty.
