WorldSkills International President, Tjerk Dusseldorp and WorldSkills Calgary 2009 President & CEO, Richard Walker caught up at the WorldSkills Australia National Competition in Sydney during July to discuss why everyone should head to Canada for the International Competition in 2009.

Tjerk Dusseldorp and Richard Walker discuss global benchmarking in the trades and skills on an international level, as well as the skills needed by competitors. These are not only motor skills, known as the trades, but key word skills - the high-tech skills needed for global economy. "We are training young people to be the best in the world," shares Richard Walker.

Richard Walker shares the advantages of heading to Calgary in 2009 for the International Worldskills event - with the knowledge and skills that will be shared on an internationally.
