The Toy Maker

Owners of Good Ol' Toys - Lynden Jacobi and Len McCarthy - first met in 1978 and soon after, Len moved to Nimbin where he began carving an ancient Chinese propeller toy and ribbons-on-a-stick for kids to sell at the local markets.

In 1984 the two became partners and began carving toys together, soon discovering and adopting unique designs form the 1700s and 1800s.

Check out the creative and amazing skills which Lynden and Len have put to use on timber to produce fun and exotic handmade artifacts and puzzles for us to play with!
