Future of training in Tasmania

SkillsOne went to Tasmania to meet with representatives from Skills Tasmania, Tasmania Tomorrow and TAFE Tasmania.

Jules Carroll informs us how trade training in Tasmania will be basically offered, as of 2009, through two separate organisations:

  • Polytechnics - looks at people who are essentially training in order to enter a certain career/get a job
  • Training Enterprise - aimed at employers and employees, which takes care of the sorts of training that businesses require which underpin their profitability and productivity
