Steve Crompton is the head lecturer in Spray Painting at Wetherill Park TAFE.

He is also the Regional Co-ordinator, NSW (Spray Painting) for World Skills.

Steve is a passionate teacher and by visiting his workplace we get an insight into how he got started into and watch him at work with students.

"I love waking up each morning, coming to the workshop and partaking some knowledge and information onto my students, he says."Hopefully every day they walk away having learnt one thing, then it's made my day."

Steve's students can't stop singing his praises.

"Steve is not like other teachers," says one. "He is just one of the blokes."

He is full of energy and is working with industry to develop a new TAFE course in Airbrushing.
