Organisations with existing careers expo commitments can broaden their exposure and their potential recruitment market through special online expo services, while young people can search for potential jobs and employers at the same time.
Conventional career trade shows now have digital equivalents such as SkillsOne Careers Expo . These web versions are "trade shows that never close" and allow organisations to maximise exposure.
Companies seeking to recruit and retain staff can better maintain a 24/hour presence using a virtual career stand. It is also effective for educators, non-profit organisations, industry groups and small businesses who want to display the benefits of working with them to an infinite number of people, anywhere and at anytime, with the SkillsOne Careers Expo.
"The virtual stand enables employers to reach groups of people who for geographic or time restraints may not be able to attend a physical careers fair," says Brian Wexham, Chief Executive of The Institute for Trade Skills Excellence.
The SkillsOne Careers Expo recreates a real-life careers & employment skills expo in a 3D animated environment. Visitors to the interactive careers stands are able to explore exhibitor stands, watch videos, view and download brochures in a quick, free and accessible way.
"It's an innovative, unique and fun way to explore the trades and skills sector and a great additional resource for students, school leavers, teachers, career advisors and training colleges," says Wexham.
The SkillsOne Careers Expo to has been made possible through an alliance formed with the EOC Group who run the National Careers & Employment Expo.
