HTN 4th Year Apprentice Chef Garreth Robbs was named HRATA Regional Apprentice of the Year at a gala dinner. Robbs was named overall winner from an extensive field of talented apprentices across all vocations having also been named Apprentice of the Year – Hospitality.

On June 24 Australia received a new Prime Minister and TAFE NSW - Sydney Institute gained a new Institute Director. I'm already enjoying the many challenges that this role presents. The vocational education sector is becoming an increasingly competitive training envrionment in which I believe Sydney Institute will both succeed and flourish.
